Required Attendance

- Closing Ceremony
Required Functions
As part of a small school, we must all participate in extra-curricular activities that create an awareness of being part of a community. The list below is an example of the extra-curricular activities that may be offered. To insure that everyone shares in these part-time staff is required to participate (work) in 3 events for 2 hours per event; full-time staff is required to participate in 3 events for 4 hours per event or 4 events for 3 hours per event.
- Fall Clean-up
- Spring Clean-up
- Fall Harvest Festival
- Book Bingo
- Breakfast/Dinner Out
- Spring Event
- PM Connections
- Story Night
- After School Activities (2 week session, once a week)
- Movie Night
- Recreation Afternoons with students
Professional Obligations
These are obligations that you are to complete during scheduled worked days.
- 1 MSW observation
- Annual Picnic - 11:00-2:00
Optional Functions
While these functions are not required, it is encouraged for you to participate when you can.
- Open Board meeting
- Board/Staff Social
- Winter/Spring Band Concert
- Parent Ed. with speaker
- Basket Bingo
- Annual State of the School
2011-2012 Academic Staff - Aides Schedule of Duties
170 student days
9 prep days before classes begin
5 clean-up days after school ends6 in-service/conference days - on 2/21 and 5/11 Part-time staff hours are 8:00 to 3:00 and Full-time
190 total days staff hours are 8:00-6:00.
Hours: Full-time - 8:00-3:30 Part-time - 8:00-12:00 Unless otherwise noted on your contract!
